This did not work well with my skin - it seemed to accentuate dry patches and texture that i didn't want to be highlighted. The color skews a bit dark even on the lightest shade. I think this might be the type of product where if it works for your skin then it will be your holy grail, but that was not the case for me. I found it a bit chalky, but that could just be me.

This product is beautiful and I love the simplicity behind it. Finally an all in one powder…. Unfortunately I have super sensitive skin and this product made my skin feel prickly and irritated all day long. I wore it a couple of times and finally had to return it. I have no idea what ingredient caused my irritation, I normally use osmosis pressed powder and have used other mineral powders without any issues in the past. It gets great reviews so I’m sure it’s a fantastic product, just not right for me.

After reviewing product on several sites & watching YouTube how-to videos, I hoped I’d see a great before & after on me. I’m still playing with it to try to use more, use less, use a different brush etc. Not wearing makeup since I retired (& I DO have “lovely skin”!), I’m looking for something lightweight & natural for an upcoming wedding other than liquid foundation, mineral powders etc that would fade, smear, wear off quickly, as well as get on collars & sleeves (liquids) and air & hair (mineral powders). So verdict is still out. I chose the right color…medium… but it’s not as forgiving & natural as I hoped after I watched videos. I’m continuing to experiment with different moisturizers, primer, etc & still not sure. I’ve done 1/2 my face & took a pic to see if I notice a difference. Still not happy with under eye lines, laugh lines, etc being so prominent. Now I’m wondering if I should have bought the other formula instead. But I’ll keep trying different applications because I so want this to work like I saw on videos!

This baked powder is amazing in that it does blend my imperfections. I use a very light cosmetic brush. It covers any redness. I have a golden undertone and ordered the medium. I also plan on getting the golden medium and blending the two. Really natural looking. I no longer use a liquid foundation. Next, I plan on getting the blush!

I Love Laura Geller Balance and Brighten Foundation …. It definitely isn’t your ordinary powder foundation. It’s got a creamy texture to it when you apply to your skin, I guess it’s the baking formula that they do in the terra cotta pan over there in Italy that makes it feel so smooth going on the skin. Also, it’s got many different colors of pigments in it and that works for me (I ordered the Fair) because it balances out my skin tones I also will use my concealer brush and dip it into a lighter hue of the pan to use for my concealer and if I need to even up any discoloration issues I can run a brush over a certain color of the swirled formula to touch up those particular areas. I just love the way that it is baked and it comes out swirled with many tones in it. If you are on the fence about this product, please give it a try, You won’t be disappointed . Choose your color, all of the colors are really forgiving, you can’t go wrong, I’ll definitely be purchasing this product again and again and again lolololol !!!!!!!

When I first applied it it looked way too dark, but somehow after a few minutes it seem to blend into my complexion. I use it over tinted primer. It lasts all day. This baked powder is like no other I’ve ever used… light coverage, perfects, add a subtle sheen, not matt/dry, especially on mature skin. The only con is that the color varies from compact to compact. I have 2 mediums and one gives me better coverage than the other and is slightly darker. I think it depends on how much “color” is swirled into each compact. Otherwise, love it.

This is the first time I have tried any Laura Geller products and I am very impressed with the way this foundation lightly covers imperfections without settling in the lines on my face. I ordered both the fair and medium because I have neutral undertones and didn’t know which one would be right for me. I have blond hair, brown eyes and fair skin, and the fair is much better on me. The medium is too dark, even with a tan. Of the two I ordered, the fair came broken and crumbled up, which I’m sure happened during shipping unfortunately, and makes it quite messy. This is the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five. Nice product though- I will order it again!
