This is a favorite eye liner from Laura Mercier! It’s the only brand I can use near my eyes. Most eyeliners irritate and make me itch, especially when wearing contact lens. This one, in plum is very striking on hazel/green eyes. It’s easy to blend and create a soft subtle line that makes your eyes pop!

Laura Mercier Caviar Tightline Eyeliner (Bronze)
This glides on like a dream. I wish the bronze color was the tiniest bit darker, but I have olive skin so someone whose skin is more fair might think it's just perfect. It's a unique color for sure, so it's a good addition to your makeup bag if you're on the fence. :)

Missing dark plum caviar stick
That’s been discontinued, but this is an acceptable substitute. Goes on smoothly and blendable. I do not like that it is not self sharpening. It’s hard to get a straight sharpening line with the wood and am often scratching my lid.

Great eyeliner
This eyeliner works great. I bought the slate gray color. It goes on easily without tugging and doesn't smudge throughout the day. It has a nice metal cap too. This is great because I find that the plastic caps that most eyeliners come with crack over time. The color is as pictured.

Challenging Pencil Liner
I removed the lid to discover that the color tip was broken. When I contacted Customer Service I was told it’s essential to remove the lid without tipping it to avoid breakage. I have used many pencil liners without having any issues removing the lid. To my chagrin, it is not self-sharpening. It is a very thin pencil. Finding a sharpener will also be challenging. All that said, the color looks pretty and should glide on.

No pulling on eyelid
The eyeliner glided on without pulling the eyelid or irritating my sensitive eyes. It is easy to make a thin line or blend with the help of a brush. I wasn’t sure how to sharpen, but gave it a try with a regular sharpener and it worked. I recommend the smoke dark gray color for a softer look.

Holds up but color is very dark
This liner does not run even when playing tennis. There are many liners like this one that perform as well at a lower price - but I purchased on sale so it was reasonable. It comes off with my oil makeup remover quite easily. I took a star off for the color. I ordered the dark plum -this liner is very dark...almost a dark brown - which fine but I thought it would have more of a purple hue to it.
