Softens hair, deepens color
Have been doing at-home haircare for a year-plus and Moroccanoil Mask just became my new favorite. The Cocoa left my hair a nice chocolate-y brown. I love how it softened my mane and left it silky smooth. This will be my go-to mask.

Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask
I love the Moroccanoil hair products. My daughter wanted to try a different color for her medium to dark brown hair which is also very thick and curly. I am hesitant to do something permanent and chemically damage her hair so we tried this product. With her hair being somewhat darker, the color came through a little fainter than we would have liked, but we kind of knew to expect this. However, it worked well as a deep conditioner and what color that did come through has lasted through a couple of washes already. There wasn't any real mess in the shower either. Overall, I would say it is a good product that was affordable. Smells great like all the other Moroccanoil hair products as well. I would buy it again.

This deposited zero color on my blonde hair. It was hydrating though so that's why I gave it 3 stars. I'll just use it as a hydrating mask and nothing more.

Great In-Between Pro Hair Color Appts
I used the Color Depositing Mask for 6 months in between professional color appointments spring/summer 2020 and my hair dresser was impressed with how well it had maintained the medium brown under-tone part of my balayage style (dark to light brown with blonde highlights). I can get a couple more months between professional color treatments using the Moroccanoil Mask.

During the pandemic I stopped coloring my hair when the salons were closed. I am now au naturale. I have a few gray strips/strands. I have only used it once. It made my hair a brassy orange color. Looked so cheat and horrible. I couldn’t wait to wash it out. I hope I can return this product. I have never returned a Lovelyskin product because I normally love them all. But this one needs to go back.

I used the Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask - Cocoa (Light Brown to Dark Brown Hair) to cover grays between salon visits. It worked well though it was necessary to apply a second time. After the initial application i targeted the roots and the results were amazing and my hair looked shiny and healthy.

Wow! This Moroccan Oil product was an unexpected surprise. My dull hair was transformed into a shiny and youthful look after just one use.
