It seems to clean as any shampoo. Hair feels hydrated. I took a star off though because it is too heavily fragranced. The smell is overpowering and lingers.

I purchased the Hydrating Shampoo along with the conditioner and love it. My hairstylist really recommended it for my thick wavy hair to keep the frizzy and tangled hair at bay.
