Great product, shameful packaging and service
The stars are because of a potential safety issue with using this product -- and the lack of responsiveness from Neocutis despite it being a well known issue you can search online and one that LovelySkin's excellent customer service confirmed they have informed Neocutis about as well. This product - and also has happened with their eye cream - have a silver band you can see just below the delivery pump. That's some kind of paint or surface coating - and as you use the product, either friction from opening the container or product residue apparently cause this coating to degrade. I realized this after repeatedly seeing little silver flakes on my skin. For a high end product and particularly one that claims to be safe for sensitive skin, this is unacceptable. Add to it that I reached out to Neocutis customer service - which is only available with an email form, no possiblility to attach pictures, and nobody ever responded - that was weeks ago. It's really a shame because the products work very well, so I've just been wiping down the container before using it every time, twice daily. But I'm still on the fence whether to continue using them given this irresponsible and entirely solvable problem. We'll see if Neocutis bothers to reply by the time I'm due for refills.

I bought this as an alternative to the Neocutis Journee Revitalizing Day Cream which has been discontinued. This product is too thick and greasy for day time use and it doesn’t contain an SPF. I guess I’ll use it in the evening but I feel this was a huge waste of money. I am disappointed Neocutis discontinued the Journee Revitalizing Day Cream, which I have used for years. Now I will have to find something else.
