Very Gentle Exfoliation
If you are looking for serious exfoliation, this serum might not be the one. I like its silky texture, easy absorption, and short ingredient list. I use it nightly once a week in place of retinol to exfoliate. While there is no irritation at all, I also have not noticed a big diffence in tone and texture. I may try using twice a week to see if that makes a difference.

My holy grail product
I have hormonal acne, and after two years of working with me trying retinol and other strong actives, my esthetician suggested I try to the Neostrata PHA line to gently exfoliate my sensitive skin. I actually didn't buy this serum at first because of my budget, but once I did my skin did a whole 180! Moisturizers always seemed to just sit on top of my skin, but now they feel like they are being absorbed, and my skin has cleared up IMMENSELY. I have minimal breakouts through my entire cycle! I never would have guessed that this is what my sensitive skin needed - just enough exfoliation to actually absorb products. With this serum I have been able to use a variety of moisturizers, sunscreens, and makeup products without irritation or breakouts. Love it!

I have purchased this serum twice and it's very effective. I love that it doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin, it provides daily vitamin C, keeps skin clear and helps with fine lines- what could be better! It is a little bit sticky at first but nothing you can't look past because of how well it works.

Helps with sun damage

Great serum to target wrinkles and dull tired skin
I use this serum two times a week at night. Sometimes I apply neostrata ultra moisturizing cream on top of it since the serum is a little sticky. It does wonders over night. I wake up with clear refreshed skin. It also reduces blemishes, since I have severe skin allergies I get skin rash or acne sometimes. It works better than any mask. I highly recommend this serum for those with skin allergies. I don't think it is suitable for wearing during the day since it is a little sticky, I don't think it would be comfortable. If you do just wear daily moisturizer to reduce the sticky feeling.
