This is my favorite self tanner. It moisturizes your skin and gives a golden tan. Not orangey at all. I will continue to buy this tanner. I also purchased a body brush from a different brand for applying the lotion. And that works very well.

This stuff is totally nasty! It is a gross color and stained my hands a dirty gray color even after IMMEDIATELY washing them and using an exfoliating scrub. I'm not impressed with how it works either! I was cautious about how much to apply but I see NO color addition on my legs, which was the only place I applied it. The directions say you can gradually build up color with multiple uses but I cannot bring myself to use it again just because of what it did to my hands. The only positive was that it does not leave that funky smell on your skin like most other self-tanning creams. If you buy this I would definitely recommend using disposable gloves to apply it. :(

I like the rest of this line so I wanted to try the lotion version. The product itself is quite thick but gave me a nice even coverage that looks natural. My main issue is how much product I needed to cover my entire body. One full body application required like 1/3 of the entire bottle. I have read some review of people mixing it with a regular lotion to dilute it and I might try that. It terms of cost per use though the mousse version seems to be the best choice

Great Self Tanning Option
Highly recommend! I do not typically use self-tanning lotions or products, and I was pleased with the results from this lotion. It was easy to apply and not messy, however it does dry very fast. I found that if I applied immediately after showering and lightly towel dried my skin (still a bit moist), the lotion spread easily. After applying the lotion let your skin air-dry for a bit to prevent getting anything on your clothes. I showered about 6 hours after applying and a bit of the "bronzing" came off and the resulting tan was nice and natural! For reference I am fairly pale but tan well in the sun. Also, I had no irritation from shaving before / after application and no breakouts after using the lotion on my face.

I use my hands to apply and wash my hands immediately afterwards with a strong soap. The reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of longevity with this product. The color really only lasts 24 hours before having to reapply.

I purchased this based on the reviews from Lovelskin. This product takes lots of time to apply and then wait for it to dry. It turns the skin on my hands dark. You have to apply sparingly. I recommend washing hands every few minutes while applying. It did have a good color on my skin when applied sparingly.

It gives real looking tan, like as if I would have went tanning for a few weeks. Or been outside. Long lasting. Con is that it takes 30 min to not be sticky. Self tanner smell is the least smelly than I have used for a while. Con is that really stains your hands so use good scrub to clean them after applications.

I love this self tanner! The scent is coconuty but fades. This is the first self tanner that doesn't have that yucky smell! Also I'm very pale and this gradually builds and looks natural without turning orange. And no rinsing! I put it on after my shower (and even after shaving with no irritation), then by the time I'm ready, it's dry enough to get dressed. It's actually a very nice moisturizer at the same time! I have used many self tanning lotions and this one is by far the best! It doesn't have the stinky smell that most self tanners do and it gives a perfect, real sun-kissed looking tan. When I first used it I was surprised by the lotion being black however it easily absorbs into skin and the color makes it easy to see where you have applied and where you didn't. I typically apply after showering once a week before bed and by the morning I have a beautiful tan. Just make sure you rub it in completely and allow it to dry before getting dressed.
