Didn’t like this mousse
This self-tanning mousse was not good for me. It was difficult to spread and pilled on my legs. I am fair skinned and the color is not anything like my natural tan would be; it’s a very brown/blackish color on me. I normally tan to a more golden brown. Also, it stains your hands in seconds. I immediately washed it off and scrubbed with a nail brush all over my hands and nails, between fingers, etc. but it is a lot of work. I guess the applicator mitt is not optional with this product.

the best self tanner for pale skin
I have to be careful with self tanners because my skin is so pale. if it's orange at all, it will show up on my skin. this product is great because it gives me a real looking tan and the tinted mousse makes it easy to see where you've already applied product. I use this product on most of my body but find that the mist works better for my hands, feet, and face. smell is also minimal compared to other brands

I have been using Norvell spray tan products for a while. I wanted to try a different application, so I shopped around and tried 2 different brands of mousse. One of which came highly recommended and the other I purchased on a whim at a local box store. Boy was I a sucker!!! I used the highly recommended one once and sent it back the very next day! The other wasn't worth trouble of returning to the store. Needless to say, I immediately came right back to Norvell and will never use any other brand!! I knew their spray tan product was great but now I know so is their hand application product. I have been a self-tanner for years simply because I am a fair skinned red head, and we don't tan. I use the Norvell Venetian line and it's perfect. One of the main selling points of Norvell is their "purple" hue which means you never have to be concerned with looking like an orange popsicle! All the reviews on this are 5 stars, so I thought this would work great! Well, my high hopes definitely didn't work out. After layering this up over multiple days, I still can hardly see any pigment. Doesn't look much different than my natural skin color. I'm very fair skinned so I should really notice a difference. So disappointed! Definitely don't recommend. Also the scent in this is super strong! It made me feel like I was suffocating it was so heavily scented.

Norvell Essentials Self Tanning Mousse
I received Norvell mousse yesterday. Tried it on and I was surprised it was a brown tint. It went in smoothly and because of the color I could see where I was applying. After a few hours I have a very natural tan. Be sure to wash your hands quickly. I recommend it.
