I'm on the fence about this one
I would consider this just an average product. It has a pleasant honey citrus smell. The product is thick and has an almost waxy feel to it. It hasn't healed my chapped lips as well as I would have liked.

better off using drug store brand
Ive definetly used better lip products that are half the cost and twice as effective. Yes, I applied the balm correctly. No, its not worth the price.
