I was only able to use this once so I cannot comment on it's efficacy. Unfortunately, I had a terrible reaction to this product due to the fragrance. The symptoms I experienced are indicative of a synthetic source. I do wish that companies would refrain from using fragrance/parfum. Most people these days are allergic. Another thing I could not tolerate was the sticky texture—very uncomfortable on the skin. Too bad I was looking forward to seeing the long results that address laxity. I read good reviews but it just didn't work for me.

May need more time
I just started using Obagi Elastiderm and here’s what I think so far. I’ve been using another more expensive product for a few years now and although I love it, I must find a less expensive line of products. I switched two weeks ago and my skin seems to be aging. I’m 72 and have been told for many years that I look 10-15 years younger. Not so much now. I’m praying that it just takes time for the new product to kick in.

I like the product however the coating on the bottle comes off on your hands which then is left on your face. It looks like glitter. I have pictures of the bottle but there is no place to put them. This is very upsetting especially for the price that I paid for the product and I night two bottles. Obagi needs to know that this is happening.

This is my first Obagi purchase and it was recommended to me by a LovelySkin rep. Prior to using Elastiderm, my skin felt dehydrated & wrinkles seemed more pronounced. This serum makes my skin feel comfortable, and it doesn't pill up under makeup. It feels protective. While it does have a fragrance, it dissipates after a few minutes and I do not find it unpleasant. While a bit cost prohibitive for me, LovelySkin offers opportunities to get it on sale and that's greatly appreciated.
