I bought a small bottle of Obagi Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser #1 at my dermatologist's office when I was having laser treatments to remove redness from years of sun damage. I liked it so much I went online to try to find it less expensively. Much to my delight, the bottIes I bought at LovelySkin were twice the size of the one I originally bought, which made the price much less than I paid for the original bottle. I like Obagi products in general but really like this cleanser. I am 75 but still have oily patches on my face. This cleanser evens everything out, making my skin feel smooth all over and the fragrance is very pleasant.

I have oily skin, and this is the one and the only cleanser I've ever used that never dries out the surface of my skin. When I use waterless cleansers like milky or lotion types, it never feels clean enough. Lathering cleansers, even those for sensitive skin, seem to dry out the surface but do nothing for the underlying sebum problem. This has provided me with a perfect balance.

This cleanser is very gentle and it removes dirt and makeup with out stripping the skin. This is much better than any other cleanser that I have tried from the drug store. This was very soothing when my skin was dry and irritated from retin a and it works well when my skin is oily.
