I used the Obagi system because I have melasma and that's how I was introduced to this product. My husband who works outside ran out of his sunscreen so I gave him my sample bottle of Obagi. I got this to use on a daily basis. Also have the spf 50 which is a little thicker (higher zinc oxide content). I haven't had any problems with blocking of pores or rashes. It goes on medium thick and I feel it is providing good sun protection.
