Obagi Nuderm toner is an excellent toner for all skin types even if not used with the entire Nuderm system. It is thorough without drying or irritating the skin. However with the system it properly prepares the skin to receive the additional Nuderm products.

I use this every night after I wash my face to get any residual cleanser off and to also neutralize my skin and prep it for evening face product. I think it tightens my pores too, which minimizes breakouts. I can always tell if I have skipped a couple of nights, because I start getting whiteheads on my nose. Gotta have it!

Refreshing & Cleansing
I use this as part of the Obagi regime, or sometimes I use it alone. I apply it after cleansing my face. It gives a nice glow to the face. And it feels good. I think it does some extra cleansing/removal of surface dead skin too because the cotton ball I use to apply it is sometimes discolored, even though Ive just cleansed my face.

FRESH SKIN
This toner takes out the remaining oil which prepares the other products to seep through. I am on the NUDERM SYSTEM as well as the CLENZIDERM. This toner DOES NOT dry out my skin, and the skin absorbs it really fast so you can immediately use your other products. My only complaint is that the toner does run out fast...

Super beneficial after cleansing
I have been on the entire Nu Derm system for going on 2 years and I have found this step to be very crucial to bringing back my skins moisture balance after cleansing. It is so refreshing to swipe a cotton pad of this toner all over my face and neck after step #1. My skin is instantly softer. Important to note, Id stopped using this step for budget reasons for a good 4 months. No kidding, my adult acne returned due to the over compensating my skin had to do to after washing, even with the gentlest cleanser. My skin missed out on getting balanced before receiving the other products, and it produced more oil, which clogged my pores, which brought back the painful pimples. Sure, the other steps still helped my complexion, but starting my routine with unbalanced skin made it much harder to realize positive results. This toner is a must.
