I use this sunscreen for my face only. A little goes a long way for coverage it tends to be a little thick. My makeup goes on well over the product and looks great. I have also been having my granddaughter who has problems with breakouts use this sunscreen and it has not irritated her skin at all. I will keep using. Good purchase!

I have ordered this sunscreen for years and absolutely loved it. Recently purchased two tubes of the sunscreen and can't use either one. They feel 'grainy' like there is sand or some time of granules inside. They were both sealed completed, so not sure what the problem is with this batch of Obagi Sun Shields. Very disappointed.

I used to love this product until they changed the formula! It’s gritty and feels like I’m applying dry dirt to my face! Although some have said it goes away after application, I do not find that to be the case. It feels like I have to brush my face afterwards to get rid of the granules that stay on my skin. Please please go back to the original formula!

This sunscreen does not irritates my skin or enlarge my pores. it is not matte but it not greasy and works well under powder. The sunscreen goes on white but dries totally clear on my tan complexion. You should also know that this has a slight gritty texture when going on but rubs in just fine and is lightweight all day. This is oil free low in silicones and is great for daily wear. I would buy this again even with the gritty sensation when applying I do prefer this new version over the old since it does not enlarge my pores like the previous version did.

Something is Off
Something is off with this product. I have now tried 3 different bottles but they are all grainy and gritty and it feels like a scrub on your face. This is not the way this product is supposed to feel. Apparently there is a lot of defective product out there in the marketplace. I called Obagi and was told that the product was not supposed to feel this way. They have been great about sending a replacement but at this point, I am seriously wondering if it will change back or not. Something happened in the manufacturing these past few months and until I am sure that the product is back to normal I am going to find a new sunscreen. Both the replacements from Lovely skin and from Obagi direct were defective. Obagi really needs to pull this off the market until they can assure their customers they will receive a quality product.
