I received a sample of the Opalex #5 conditioner and decided to order a bottle. I don’t like the heavy soapy scent, but otherwise it is working well for my short, thin, baby fine hair. What I like is that it doesn’t leave an oily residue on my hands and rinses out cleanly from my hair, which is so important for fine hair. That being said, it is a bit much for my hair if I use it everyday, so I use it about three days a week.

I have wavey hair that's fine in texture, but thick, shoulder length and not color treated. The conditioner is rich and creamy, but rinses easily, and has a nice scent. I'm not sure what I was expecting from this line of products, but I didn't find it made my hair look or feel any better than other conditioners. It's a bit expensive, but a small amount is all it takes, so I expcet it will last a long time.
