This is my second favorite leave in/styling product only second to no. 10. It is a decent curl gel and nice when I straighten. It leaves my hair shine and cuts the frizz. Sometimes I combine it with no. 6 or 5L if I need more moisure.

Light serum
I like using this serum, and would repurchase. I like all the Olaplex products I have tried, but this is the easiest to use. Just put onto hair and it absorbs nicely, and does not leave my very dry hair oily or sticky or crunchy. It is a nice scent like all the olaplex. It is not like a hair oil, and not like a thick conditioning balm type product. It is light and slightly nourishing.

Great Hair Serum!
I originally received this as a free gift with purchase. I have fine, thin hair and once I tried this I knew I would be purchasing it again. I use it after I towel dry my hair and it makes my hair feel stronger and more resilient to heat from the hair dryer and curling iron, which I only use occasionally.. My shoulder length hair is baby-fine but a bit thin and tends to be fly-away in the winter. Working No. 9 into the ends, or mixing it with No. 6 and massaging it from root to ends, after washing helps smooth it out :-) It won't make your hair greasy unless you get heavy-handed. I'll definitely be keeping this in stock!

Olaplex #9 says its a nourishing hair serum and heat protectant. It leaves hair smooth when applied to damp hair and let air dry. I add 2 drops of the bonding oil to #9 and apply.
