Another reviewer said it has a strong scent (3 years ago) but they must have changed the formula because it doesn’t smell like anything at all to me. This gel is the best product I have found for 5B curls!

Frizz control
This has been my go-to styling gel for at least the last decade. It keeps frizz under control. I use the ouidad styling method and apply it in sections of my hair. It can try "crunchy" or hard, but then once dry, I tightly twist my hair to "release the curls" and I'm set for the day (or two).

Soft curls, not sticky
This gel is perfect for my frizzy hair. It gives soft curls, and doesn’t leave that crunchy feel. Lasts all day too.

Nice product, awful scent
The gel is a thin, slippery liquid that didn't dry out my long 3A curls. The gel isn't crunchy or drying, but I need to diffuse the roots or air-dry with clips to get the volume I am used to. Frizz wasn't much different than using my regular salon-quality product. Not great for second day hair. I won't order again because I don't like the floral scent. The scent is subtle, but lingers.
