Pricey for not being able to see significant differences?
I received a sample of this product last year at a time when I had a really basic skincare routine. I was really excited about the results that I saw from that sample. After a year, I justified biting the bullet and paying for a full-size version of this product. Overall, I don't have any complaints about the product. I think it does what it says it will do. Do I want more from a product at this price point? Yes. I think it can be doing more. So far, after about three weeks with the full-size product, the results that I'm seeing in my skin feel a lot more subtle than when I tried the sample. I think that's because my routine changed and I added more steps and products within the year I waited to purchase this. Sadly, though this is the most expensive product in my current routine, it doesn't feel like the heaviest hitter and, at this price point, I want and expect it to be. Frankly, I was more excited about the results I saw from a sample I received with this product. We'll see - maybe this is a "long game" product and I'll look like a model after I'm done with the bottle. If that's the case, I'll update this review to let you know. For now, the advice that I would give to a friend is to consider saving their money on this product because I think there are cheaper options that could do something similar.

Immediate results!
I ordered this full size after receiving a sample. From first application, I loved how my skin glowed and felt hydrated. I'd like very much to continue, but it's SO expensive--even on sale. Free shipping does help; thank you, LovelySkin. My review would have been five stars if not for the price. It's a great product that showed fantastic results for my sensitive skin.

matte finish
This serum feels more like a primer. It has a real silicone-y feeling to it.It's silky, spreads easily, leaves a matte finish. does not feel irritating or drying. It has a very faint nondescript scent that disappears quickly.
