I have been using this product for some time. I use it two or three times a week on my face. I wet my face first, apply the gel and follow the directions on the tube. I don't find the product to be drying this way. My skin feels very clean and exfoliated afterwards.

I have a friend that swears by this product and I never really understood how it works. I decided to just go ahead and give it a try and have been using it at least once a week when I feel I need some extra exfoliation. I specifically reach for this if I need gentle exfoliation as I find it doesn't irritate or leave my skin red and inflamed as some manual or chemical exfoliation can do sometimes. I still don't fully understand how it works but I know that my skin enjoys it and has never experienced any type of reaction or irritation due to it. My skin just feels extremely soft after use and is ready for whatever skincare I reach for after.

This stuff is truly effective at getting the dead skin off your face and neck. I can tell it’s dead skin that I’m rolling away and not just the silicon in the product because it’s a brown color - like dead skin (eww) ! In a good way ! My skin looks very refreshed and clean after using this. I know for sure it works bc I had a grown eyebrow hair, and after I spot used this on the area - it was resolved immediately! I received the FirmX Peeling Gel Exfoliant as a free sample and really liked it. So I purchased a full size and use 2 to 3 times a week. I like the creamy gel texture and how it sweeps away the dead skin when applied. It does not irritate my skin and I use tretinoin along with vitamin C serum. Definitely helps to keep skin smooth.
