This peel is very good, not a professional strength, but no one should be using professional strength at home. It is mildly irritating, should not be used with Retin A, and definitely gives skin a nice healthy glow. I appreciate the easy application pads and that I can use also on my hands. I have been using them every night for about a month and my skin does feel softer. I have somewhat oily skin so using them every night doesnt dry my face out. I have deep wrinkles around my mouth from sun damage over the years and I am hoping this product will help lessen them over time. Not necessarily "peel" pads, but a good face refresher
Ive used other types of "peel pads" that actual have the effect of a glycolic peel- and these dont have the same effect. It doesnt matter if I used them every day for a couple weeks or twice a week for a month- still not the same effect as even a light peel. However, they can give your face a refreshed look when used before bed, but if used too often (more than 2-3 times a week) they can have a very drying effect (I have dry skin, so YMMV). So, their true benefit to me was that they are more effective than most AM serums Ive owned, but not up to snuff to other true peel pads.

The Un Wrinkle Peel Pads are life changing. I purchased these after a recommendation by a friend who used to work for PTR. Of course, I thought she might be biased but after using I am a PTR lover and my skin has never looked better. I have been using these for a couple of years now. I had to cut out getting peels and microdermabrasion at the derm's office to save money and these are a decent replacement. My skin feels smoother and is glowing the day after using them (my skin gets red right after, so I use them at bedtime). I have dry mature skin, so I use them once weekly. There's enough saturation on one pad to cover my face, the backs of my hands and forearms, and the bottoms of my feet (it really helps keep feet smooth).

I have been using the gentle version of these pads for 4 months and I wanted something a bit stronger. I do not slough or peel from them and use every am as I use PTR's Retin-A Fusion serum at night.
