I purchased 4 products from Rene Furterer. I started with these products about 25 years ago. My hairdressers are always amazed that I have extremely fine hair, but tons of it. The texture and shine is excellent. Anyone with fine hair would just love these products.

Miracle thickening shampoo
I have very fine hair plus a thyroid condition. I saw a friend I hadn't seen in several months, with similar hair, with thicker hair. Of course, I had to know her secret. So, 11 1/2 years later, multiple people are asking me my secret. Forticea shampoo by Rene Furterer is my answer every time. I have it at home, at my cottage and in my travel bag. I never go anywhere without it. Even my 88 year-old-mother is using it. Thank you Rene!!!

Effective Treatment for Post-Illness Hair Loss
Tried this shampoo to rescue my hair which had turned brittle and fine and was falling out after I was sick with a prolonged bout of flu. After about 2 weeks, I did notice less hair falling out when brushing. After a month of use, my hair feels almost back to its pre-illness thickness. I would recommend using this as a monthlong hair treatment for those recovering from a specific episode of hair injury, but I am not sure how effective it would be for treating age-related hair loss.

The shampoo looks cool and doesnt smell bad, but I didnt notice any new hair growth, less breakage, or extra growth. Maybe you need to use 2 or 3 bottles, though, to notice a difference....
