BP Acne Wash
Benzoyl peroxide has always been really great at keeping my breakout away, but has been notorious for making my skin way too dry, so I usually avoid it. At the suggestion of a friend, I bought this wash. I eased into using this just a few times a week, but now I use it daily, and it works great. There is still some dryness, but nothing I can't solve with a good moisturizer. It's nice to see far less acne and not having to deal with dry, flaky skin.

I have used the Replenix 10% Benzoyl Peroxide acne wash for the past several years, it was my absolute favorite! I recently had to switch to this version (with Aloe Vera in the formula) as they discontinued the other version I was using. It seems to work well, my only complaint is the smell. In my opinion, it is extremely potent and strong smelling, compared to the previous formula that I was using that doesn’t contain Aloe Vera, and the smell bothers me. I prefer my face wash to be not as fragrant. However, this version with aloe seems to be more hydrating, which was nice! Aloe Vera is known to be a calming ingredient on the skin, but at first my skin felt a little more irritated when switching to this. I do have to say that my skin feels incredibly soft after using it, and it does work to fight acne, so I would still very much recommend it if the stronger smell doesn’t bother you.
