This is a great product that really helps me to clear blemishes. It works wonders and a little bit really goes a long way. It is not too drying if used sparingly. Seems to be effective for the basic pimple. Not effective at clearing a cystic pimple, as they are too deep..

I wanted to love this product. I get the occasional cystic breakout. It is very drying, which I would deal with if it lessened the severity or duration of the breakout - it didn't do either - so I had the breakout for the same amount of time plus the dryness. i won't purchase again.

Effective but flawed
Let me just start out by saying this definitely works. It's a strong BPO formulation and makes a big difference even after one night of application. However I have never had it fully absorb into my skin. Even if I use it straight after cleansing and nothing else it will always end up pilling no matter how much I rub or tap or press it into my skin. The 10% can also be harsh on the skin and while this is probably know just an extra warning - this will bleach anything and everything it touches. So just be very careful when, how, and where you apply it.

I thought this would be more effective, however I found that Paulas Choice benzoyl peroxide 5% treatment was a lot more effective and gentle on the skin. This can be very drying over large areas of acne.
