Another well formulated Revision product
I use this daily for the extra hydration. It’s very moisturizing and soaks in quickly. At night, I prefer the Epionce Intensive Nourishing Cream, which is a little more moisturizing. I buy both of these products from LovelySkin, naturally!

my esthetician recommended this as a great moisturizer for sensitive skin, even in the summer. I was surprised that it was not too rich,it offers the perfect amount of moisture for my aging skin. Unique dispenser on top of lid,but my critique is that its hard to know when i will run out. That is why i gave it 4 stars....

This is the moisturizer I’ve been looking for!! It’s the ultimate “drink” that my face has been thirsting for but I’ve been unable to find in other products. It’s beyond rich and creamy but not too heavy for my soon-to-be 50 year old skin. I can’t imagine being without this now that I’ve tried it!!

Revision DermProtect Barrier Defense
I purchased this to help w/ dryness I was experiencing due to winter drying out my face in certain areas. It seems to be a nice product, but I saw no difference in hydrating my skin. I will continue to use it on other areas, but will not buy again. I’m in my early 70’s and many Revision products work very well for me. Just needed a little extra boost and was disappointed in this particular product.

It does have an oily feel which I like on my post-menopausal, dry skin. I think they can can do better on their prices when compared to other products with similar active ingredients.

Maybe better for more mature skin, very expensive
I purchased this for my skin whilst on accutane. It’s rich and heavy, but not as moisturizing as expected and there are many other options that are much more affordable. So I think it could be better for more mature skin if you are ok with the price point.

Generally, I am a strong 86 yr. woman who uses and likes several LovelySkin products, but this one is truly for moisturizing older white skin. This leaves NO residue or stickiness while it makes my skin feel supple. There are even areas that redness or discoloration have diminished. This is a keeper for me. Thank you.

I was looking for something a little more moisturizing for colder weather and initially received a sample of this. I tried it and really liked how my skin felt so I decided to order the 1.7 oz. You won't feel it penetrating your skin like most moisturizers do or feel. it's non greasy which I appreciate. It almost feels like it coats it and your skin and instantly feels incredibly smooth and soft. I've used it both during the day and at nighttime.

I tried the Revision Skincare DermProtect Barrier Defense Moisturizer because I have used the Revision Nectifirm Advanced for years and love that product. I received a sample of the moisturizer and loved it! It is the perfect blend of texture, thickness, and a light scent. I use it as my night cream, and it dissolves into the skin without leaving any on the pillowcase. My skin looks and feels hydrated in the morning. A surprise bonus is the packaging: Under the cap is a push-down lid with an opening to control the amount you want to use, which also keeps the application sanitary! I will buy this product many times again.

Digging this face cream so far
I’ve always been happy with this brand, and so far so good on the new splurge. I have combination skin, 48 years old, and live on a humid climate. So when it occasionally is dry out, or traveling to areas with low humidity, this cream is a life saver. I may just switch from my go to face cream to this one. Also, just to add, I really really love everything about LovelySkin. What a great company… and I stopped shopping at another popular online beauty/skin care store b/c I found these lovely folks.

Didn’t work for me…
This moisturizer just didn’t work for me. It had the consistency of petrolatum, which made it difficult for me to apply to my combination skin. The product never really seemed to soak in. I was still hopeful, but found that my skin looked dull the next day. I was expecting more of a next day glow at this price point. Something in the ingredients also caused my skin to react; I do have sensitive skin though. I think there are better options, especially at this price point.
