Primer bothers my eyes

I was skeptical in purchasing the Double-Ended Volume set as I always bought just the Raven Revitalash mascara and really loved it. Since you can only buy the mascara in the double-ended set, I purchased it and did use the primer. I can see how the primer does help in keeping the mascara more on my eyes than smearing or a tiny bit of flaking off, BUT I noticed after using the primer several days in a row, that my eyes were bothering me in that they felt irritated and red. I stopped using the primer and just used the mascara and my eyes didn't have that same irritating feeling. Then I'd try using the primer again, and after a few days of using the primer with the mascara, my eyes would get that irritated feeling. I'm going to have to stop using the primer due to it irritating my eyes but still love the mascara. I think it's a shame that the company has now forced people to buy the primer with the mascara whether you want to or not. It's just a way to get people to spend more money on something they don't want or need. I'm highly disappointed that they are packaging the mascara this way. The mascara is still a good product. I just wished I could buy it separately since I can't wear the primer.

Great Product!

This is a great product having both a mascara and primer in one! The primer is blue and gives your lashes a darker look to enhance your black mascara. Great Product!
