Effective but requires commitment
I have melasma which is stubborn and difficult to combat. I am also acne-prone which creates another challenge when selecting products I can use. After finishing a full bottle of this product, I can say that it is effective in lightening pigmentation and did not cause breakouts. However, it requires daily commitment to applying as directed and I did not see a noticeable difference until I’d nearly finished the entire tube which was after approximately 6-8 weeks of daily usage. So, you have to be consistent and patient. How is this different from other products that address pigmentation? This promises that it will prevent new pigmentation from forming which is a huge selling point for me because I have found that I always had a “bounce-back” if I so much as took a small break from hydroquinone or mandelic acid. I will be re-purchasing and look forward to getting to the maintenance stage.

Faded some stubborn patches
This has helped fade some stubborn patches of melasma during the 3 plus weeks of use so far. I was impressed by the significant fading after only a few days. I am using it along with Niacinamide, alpha arbutin, vitamin c, and other discoloration treatments, and it’s possible their effect may have also been boosted by the Sente product. It does have a strong scent that I do not care for but am willing to tolerate as long as the treatment works.
