Not for sensitive skin, too strong
I have sensitive skin and read all these reviews prior to purchase. However, I use a HP slow release retinol every other night on my face in general, and it doesn't bother my skin. This one for the eyes however, caused red flare ups all around my eyes. What's strange is that I didn't have redness where I applied it, which was a tiny amount under my eye, I only had swelling and redness above my eyes and the sides. Knowing that retinol can take a while to get used to, I tried it every other night for one week and then every 3 days. No change--just way too strong and caused redness/sensitivity all over my upper face actually. For how expensive this is, I was trying to just get through the bottle and not waste it but I have to toss it. Horrible!

I haven’t used this product long enough to give fair review. I use the alpharet overnight cream daily, no issues ever with sensitivity & I’ve never been super careful not to get it near my eyes. This is why I bought the eye cream. However, this is not a product I’ve been able to use daily yet. If I use each night, my eye area is red & I look like I’ve been crying. But I am using 2-3x a week right now, will build up to nightly if skin allows. So far zero difference to crows feet or fine lines, but I haven’t used a full 12 weeks yet so time will tell

This is a strong product. If you have any sensitivity in the eye area, use caution. It works well on existing laugh lines and just a little goes a long way. Do not use above eye. And restrict to night use. Absorbs very well.
