Creamy eye cream for aging skin
I have only use this product for a short time, but so far I am really enjoying it. I purchased it because I love using the Skin Ceuticles triple lipid 242 restore anti-aging cream and am hoping the two products will work together to restore my skin as I sleep and renew it for the morning. So far so good! It is a thick eye cream, so thick that it does not dispense from a pump, which sends promises of a lot of moisture delivered to the eye area while I sleep.

I started using the original A.G.E. Eye cream over a decade ago and tried out the new version when it became available. Same great results, but I didn’t find it very different from the original except for the price. It seems all Skinceutical prices are leaping up, so I will begin to try out other brands.

I purchased this because I had a small sample in a tube (from LovelySkin). But it comes in a jar when you purchase it, a very small jar! It is waxy in this form in did not melt into my under eye area. It needs a lot of tap and press to work into this delicate eye area.

Being extremely sensitive to products in general, this one is gentle. The consistency is a little thicker than many eye creams. Once the product has been dabbed under the eye, it absorbs fairly quickly. I’ve used eye creams for years but give this only 4 stars because I haven’t used it long enough to notice much change. I started using it shortly after it was launched and I just happened to be finishing up the original version. I don’t see any huge difference but it has seemed to maintain the status quo.Maybe it has slowed down the aging process but it’s hard to judge. I’m 61 and have used various eye creams since my early 20’s. Honestly nothing compares to the results from Botox for crows feet.

It’s really hard to tell coz I am used to the old version, and coz I am still a bit young for wrinkles & don’t have dark circles or crow’s feet! My main concern was puffiness due to excess water not fat, so I guess it worked coz my puffiness is reduced by at least 30% now but I’m still half way through the jar so let’s see… I gave it 4 stars (although I rarely do for SkinCeuticals products) because it’s so thick I use a metal applicator, which SkinCeuticals failed to include, way thicker than the former one! When it comes to anti-aging products though, you have to remember it’s about the whole regimen, about choosing carefully & properly, about consistency in using your products, especially the nighttime routine, and of course, about your lifestyle in general: eating habits, sleep patterns, stress etc…
