It helps
I often have tiny, hormonal white heads on my chin and around the sides of my mouth, sometimes as many as 6-8 when I wake up in the morning. While I'm not now breakout free, since I began using this product twice a day, I'm virtually free of the whiteheads. It helps enough for me to keep using it!

Works for wrinkles
I am 45 years old and have oily skin. I don't get breakouts. It's just excessive sebum and enlarged pores. I really dislike having oily skin and enlarged pores. I have used many products over the years with no help. This product however did change few things for me. 1- It shrunk the enlarged pores significantly 2- it smoothed out the wrinkles on the side of my nose (incredible nothing helped with that before) 3- it brightened up my skin Besides the wonderful help of shrinking the enlarged pores, smoothing out the wrinkles, and brightening of my skin, I have not felt any help with the oiliness. I have been using this product for about a month now and I want to finish using the bottle and see if I can get help with the oiliness. I probably will purchase it again just for the wrinkles and shrinking the enlarged pores.

I have been using this for a few years on both acne that are forming and on hard lumps that are deep formed acne. It seems to remove the bacteria and lead to healing. In a newly formed pimple, it works in two days towards drying it out, shrinking the bump and reducing the discoloration. In the older white heads which are nearly impossible to get rid of, it drys these out as well, albeit it takes longer. It takes three weeks of daily treatment, but the dry out and disappear. It does not cause harm to surrounding tissue. It is expensive, but it works better than anything I have ever tried.

Seems to really help
I am a 60 plus woman who has struggled with acne for many years. I have been using the Acne System for a couple of months now, and I think it has been helping to reduce the severity and frequency of my breakouts. As mentioned by other reviewers, the serum is not drying, which also helps reduce breakouts. However, I do not find the serum to be an overnight cure for any breakouts as others have reported.

Great for random blemishes
I really love this for occasional blemishes. I deal with terrible hormonal acne at times, and it has not helped with that-only a prescription has. So if you’re looking to combat severe acne this might not do the trick, but great for the random pimple!

A little bit dry to start with, but makes my skin glow
My acne was very severe. I couldn't say that this helped with my acne, but once my acne healed, I started using this again and it makes my skin glow the next morning. It's a little bit dry. So please do use only ONCE a day when you start using this. It's not oily at all. I will finish this bottle but will consider other SkinCeuticals products and not buying again at this time.

Finally I found an acne treatment that actually works. This product stung a bit when I first used it but the tightness disappeared right away. I don't recommend using it every day as it may dry out your skin.

Good for spot treatment
I use this for when I get some monthly acne spots...way too harsh to use every day though because it will cause flaking. I have sensitive skin though that is also oily so it's hard to find a balance, I have to use multiple products.

I dont use this product as often as I should due to cost, so I will run out, go awhile without it and can definitely tell the difference. I am an "older" woman dealing with acne worse than during puberty. This product really helps and I should keep it stocked because a little bit goes a long way.

I love all the Skinceuticals products. I am 50 years old and have combination skin prone to break-outs so I love the fact that this product combats anti-aging and blemish control all in one. Also it is not greasy. I would recommend only using 2 drops since a little goes a long way, plus it will last longer.

I think its worth it
At the suggestion of my aesthetician, I use this mainly in my T zone, where I am prone to cyclical hormonal breakouts. I am in my late 40s, so I like that it is targeted for both blemishes and aging skin. I use it morning and evening. Occasionally, I find it can be too drying and I might see a little flakiness in the area of application. I combat that by adding a little extra moisturizer if needed. I feel like it is effective (maybe more so for the acne, not sure about anti-aging). I wouldnt spend this much money if I didnt think it was effective!

I liked how this made my pores appear smaller. I am keeping it as a standby in my routine, but I recently fell for the Dr. Dennis Gross Extra Strength Alpha Beta Daily Face Peel (I am fickle, what can I say?). The peel pads seem to shrink my pores more, and after only a week, I think my brown spots are getting lighter. It tightens my skin more than this product, too. I wonder if I could use this during the day, with my Phloretin CF?
