Love this cleanser!
I have tried many exfoliating cleansers and really like this one. The micro-scrubbers are small BUT they don't disappear as soon as you get them on your face (like many others do). It's just enough for a daily cleaning if you wanted - I use a few times a week. I have not experienced any irritation and face is squeaky clean after!!!!

SkinCeuticals Clarifying Exfoliating Cleanser
This cleanser has only a slight exfoliating effect. It’s more creamy and contains very little grit. I wet my fingers and squeeze out a little of the product onto my fingers, rub it around in my hands then put it on my face. After rubbing it around to cleanse well, I leave it on for a few more seconds before splashing it off with water. I use it two or three times per week in the morning before applying serum and moisturizing. So far so good, but it’s simply a mild cleanser. I use a retin A product once per week at night, mixed in with my moisturizer, for more exfoliation results.

SkinCeuticals Clarifying Exfoliating Cleanser is the best facial exfoliant I have ever used. It is has plenty of microbeads to actually feel a difference on my skin but is still very gentle. I have been using it for years and absolutely love it!

I purchased this cleanser accidentally. I was looking to purchase the micro exfoliating cleanser. While I do think it does a good job cleaning, I do prefer the micro exfoliating cleanser by SkinCeuticals. I believe I will return to the other cleanser.

Calling this an exfoliating face wash is a bit misleading. Yes, there is salicylic acid, but really... I expected it to be physically exfoliating and salicylic acid isn't a super strong chemical exfoliant. I should have read the reviews more closely.
