My skin is oily & always eventually requires physical exfoliation but I’m almost 60 so need to be as gentle as possible with my skin. This has always been a tricky proposition...until now! Great for acne prone skin!
This is the only face cleanser that my daughter's dermatologist recommends for her acne prone skin and my daughter loves it. She has tried multiple face washes from LovelySkin (most for acne) and this is that only one that doesn't contribute to more breakouts. It has a fine gritty texture that helps exfoliate and refresh the skin. It's not drying at all. For reference, she has sensitive skin and is prone to redness and breakouts. I have tried it on several occasions but I personally am not a fan. I am 47 and have normal to dry skin. I like the fact it doesn't strip the skin but I always wear foundation and sunscreen and it doesn't remove it all and my face does not feel clean after using. If you wear a lot of foundation, a makeup remover first may help with that. Overall, I highly recommend because of how great my daughter's skin does with it.

Excellent Cleanser for Aging Skin
My derm recommended this product. I have aging, dry skin (I am 72). As we age we need to exfoliate our skin religiously but not too aggressively. This clarifying exfoliating cleanser is excellent to help gently detoxify the skin. I will say that I do not use this every night to cleanse as I use SC Glycolic 10 Renew Overnight and other medical grade products to boost cell turnover.

Best Cleanser I've Found - 40's Acne Prone Skin
This is the best cleanser I have found for my 44 year old acne prone skin. I have tried all the Skin Ceuticals cleansers and this is my favorite one by far. Just slightly drying but really cleans without stripping my skin - which ultimately leads to more acne. I have sensitive skin from years of trying products and using retinA and this does not upset my skin at all. On my 3rd tube and I still love it. That's rare for me!

I have been using this cleanser for probably 1.5 to 2 years now. I've let it run out on occasion an am always sorry when I do that. It keeps my face feeling extra clean - I can is it with or without my clarisonic. I'm a huge skinceuticals fan, although I wish their products were a tad cheaper.
