Left a white cast…
I loved the texture of this sunscreen. It went on smoothly and did not cause my sensitive skin to react. Unfortunately, this left a pretty noticeable white cast on my face for quite awhile after application. I can confirm that this is sensitive skin friendly; however, I couldn’t get past the white cast on my olive skin. I would still recommend to those that have fairer skin, or can wait until the white cast fades.

great product protects from sun damage
I've been a life long fan of SkinCeuticals. I was excited to see this new sunscreen so decided to try it. It's not greasy and absorbs right away upon application. The white cast disappears quickly leaving no residue. I usually wear it the entire day going around town running errands without reapplying and so far no skin burns. It seems to hydrate my skin but it's minimal. I don't wear make up so I don't know how it will layer with make up. I would like to see a higher ZINC % in the ingredients for the high prices and a move away from these pump bottles because they lead to waste because you cannot get to the product once it's low. Thus I am taking off 1 star for those three factors (ZINC, price, packaging). Otherwise, it's a nice product with clean ingredients that does a nice job providing sun protection.

I was reluctant to purchase this sunscreen because it’s pricey for a small amount. I wanted a higher SPF than a different one I love. I have hypersensitive skin with rosacea and keratosis pilaris. It’s working nicely. It’s more runny and smells like a sunscreen compared to my other one, but it’s moisturizing and brings the redness in my cheeks down a shade or two. The other one is still my #1 choice sunscreen, but this is a nice SPF upgrade for the sunny summer days. I would purchase it again, but only with a promotion to bring down the cost.

I like this sunscreen and it protects my skin really well. I have to say I like the Skinceuticals SPF 30 better. My skin looks radiant with the SPF 30. The SPF 50 is still great for longer days in the sun which is when I’ll use it.
