Total surprise when I received the free sample of SkinCeuticals Daily Brightening UV Defense Sunscreen from LovelySkin to review. It's lightweight and not heavy like some face sunscreens which I don't like. Love that it helps with discoloration and hydration which I need at my age, also like that it also seems to have a slight shimmer to it. Thank you LovelySkin!

**This review was based on an item sample that I received as a complimentary gift. As a dermatologist myself, I frequently get asked “what is the best sunscreen?” by patients. My answer is “one that you like and will use.” I’ve tried many and I can attest to the fact that while some may provide excellent sun protection, they can also lead to dry skin, allergic reactions, and acne. If a sunscreen doesn’t make your skin feel good, it won’t get used, and not only are you not protecting your skin…you’ve also wasted your money. This sunscreen feels light, yet moisturizing and has added anti-pigmentation benefits. I personally battle melasma and having the bonus of tranexamic acid in my sunscreen is just another tool to battle this pesky condition. I highly recommend this product!

So far, so good!
I was just looking for a new SPF when I got this free sample to try and review. So far, I love it! The texture is smooth (usually I find SPF to be gritty), and no breakouts. I haven't had it long enough to speak to potential breakouts, but it is so smooth, and works great under makeup, that I'm buying it now!

I received a free sample of this a couple weeks ago to review and it came at the perfect time. I had just been thinking that I needed to switch up my daily moisturizer/sunscreen routine because I’m almost 40. I love it! It brightens enough so that I don’t need to worry about coverage when I’m running errands. My skin looks happy.

I’m always a little nervous to try new face products because my skin breaks out easily. I love the idea of a facial sunscreen that is also a moisturizer. I received a free sample of this and have loved all the Skinceutical products I’ve tried so far, so I tried this one too. This product has a nice silky texture and gives my skin a dewy look. It has not made my skin break out so far which is a huge plus. I love that this product can also help with reducing discoloration.

I love SkinCeuticals anyway, but this tops it off! Very luxurious feeling and doesn't cause me to breakout. I have very sensitive skin and this works well on my face. Goes on very well under makeup! It covers up my hyperpigmentation nicely too!

Sunscreen with face cream
I love this so much! I always hated putting a moisturizer on and then adding sunscreen. This takes care of both and it feels amazing on your skin! Even if you are not outside you need sunscreen on because the sun comes thru the windows and can still affect your skin with aging rays.

Great sunscreen with brightening of skin!
This sunscreen leaves my skin smooth and protected. I use it after Skinceuticals CE Ferulic. Wash your hands after applying, it can sting if you get it in your eyes.

One of the reasons why I wanted to try it because it said it would help with the dark spots which i got with sun. I know its going take time. Love this Daily Brightening UV Defense with SPF
I have been using this for about 6 weeks and I absolutely love it! At night I use the Glycolic 10 Renew and Discoloration Defense. In the morning I use the the CE Ferulic Acid, Discoloration Defense & top it of with this Daily Brightening UV Defense with SPF. My skin has never been better! My dark spots are fading. My skin is brighter!! This product has a very slight “highlighter or pearlescent “ look to it. When you put it on it just blends out so nicely to give you a nice slightly dewey look! Get it!!

Non greasy and lightweight
I’m always on the search for a great sunscreen that doesn’t leave a white cast, feels lightweight and help my skin tone. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, and like it. I wish it was tinted but it does have a slight pearl shimmer that helps even tone my skin. I still have to wear concealer for my darks spots but I’ve noticed that has slowly helped lighten them.
