Effective sunscreen
I am still trying to find the 'perfect' sunscreen. This one is not my favorite because of the chemical sunscreens. I wish SkinCeuticals would make this exact product with zinc only, then this would be my all time favorite. I always use natural sunscreen since zinc does not break down in the sun. I was intrigued with this product because of the brightening effect. I will not repurchase due to the chemical sunscreens.

Worth A Second Look
Ok - let’s be honest SkinCeuticals’ products are pricey therefore adding one more to your daily regime takes some careful consideration. So you ask why did I give this brightening sunscreen a serious look, well I recently noticed how I liked the sheen that my son’s girlfriend’s skin had on her youthful skin and thought I want that! And then I watched SkinCeuticals’ aesthetician/customer relations representative’s recent webinar (hosted by LovelySkin) on selecting your personal daily regime highlight this 30 SPF Daily Brightening Sunscreen. She said it had a luminescent feature when you apply it - I thought Ah-Ha maybe it would give me that youthful glow. Oh yes - It does!! I’d recommend giving this product a a second look when you’re considering adding a new product to your daily regime. It glides on and it has a lovely sheen. I didn’t give it a 4 because I’ve only been using it a few weeks and I noticed that sometimes it gets a bit balled up on the skin’ surface. I have to continue experimenting; it may be that I have to change up when I apply during my morning application regime.

This creates a very luminous look but I do find it can pill if applied over several products. The luminosity is great but it does have a strong sunscreen smell.

It’s growing on me
I was not in love with this sunscreen when I first started using it. It’s been about six weeks and I am seeing the benefits of more even skin tone. What I don’t like is that the bottle is opaque, so I don’t know when it will run out.

Good stuff
My favorite sunscreen changed formula and I received this sample before beginning my search process. This will be my new sunscreen! It is hard to find non-irritating sunscreens that do not leave a white cast on darker skin tones. I already use another product from this brand. Cons include price and the fact that there is no SPF 50 equivalent.

I like this but I don't know if I like it enough to pay this much for it again. It goes on light and smooth but it's a tad shimmery. I haven't decided how I feel about that yet. It's almost like a nice glow but I don't know if I always want that look. I'll probably stick to my makeup or moisturizer with sunscreen once I'm done with this.

Wish there was a tinted version
I like this and do use it daily. I actually cocktail it with the tinted SkinCeuticals sunscreen. This is a good 'serum' type sunscreen if you wear it alone. I will buy it again and again.

I had such high hopes for this sunscreen, but I was a bit disappointed. The cream has a beautiful light weight texture and the color is amazing as well as the application does not leave a white cast. But, it does have a scent as well as it "balled up" on application. It also seemed a bit greasy on my face.

I usually go to EltaMD for my facial daily SPF, but I wanted to try something new. This SPF is very moisturizing, it smells good, and it doesn't feel tacky. I would recommend it to everyone with dry skin, because it may be too rich for oily skin. Therefore 4 stars.

This sunscreen goes on smoothly, is light and well absorbed by my skin. I use a variety of sunscreens and this one is quickly becoming my favorite. However, I am concerned about one of the ingredients, homosalate. Therefore, I will only use it occasionally.

My favorite sunscreen protections has been the SkinCeuticals tinted SPF 50 and I was leery to try the sample I received from LovelySkin. I finally tried it and I love it. I just wish it was SPF50 vs the SPF30. It is a great product and I will continue to use it.
