I believe this rich, corrective facial cream helps tighten and firm the skin. As I apply it after the H.A. Intensifier, I sweep the cream upwards temporarily lifting the face! I often apply a layer of Emollience on top. I have used SkinCeuticals for ten+ years!! I am 61 and people have told me I look 40-something. Good Overall Moisturizer
This moisturizer smells good and gives me the right amount of moisture that lasts all day without making me any more greasy than normal. It absorbs quickly and wears well alone or under make up. One pump is enough for face and neck. Best of all...It didnt break me out!! Sometimes things can get a little weird when I put sunscreen on top and the layers of serums/products (prevent, correct, moisture, protect) ball up and pill on my face. Im not sure why it happens sometimes and not others but it is frustrating when it does. The only caution I would give is that it can burn sometimes but it goes away pretty quickly and when I used it over a 10% benzoyl peroxide cream one time there was definitely a chemical reaction. My face turned very red and I had to wash the product off with cool water, but it was fine almost immediately after. I think this is a great product and will reorder. Ive been using skinceuticals for over a year and although it is an expensive line, I think it is great stuff! Im in my late 30s with medium combination skin. I am dealing with hormonal adult acne in the cheek area and along the jawline and the starting of fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth. Prior to this I was using SkinCeuticals daily moisturizer since it is recommended for acne prone skin. I felt like that one wasnt giving me the moisture I needed and possibly causing blackheads since that was a problem I never had before. I was afraid to try a new moisturizer and make matters worse but Im so glad I did! I think I have finally found the right mix of products, including this moisturizer. My skin is almost clear and the tone/texture looks nice. I hope this review was helpful!
