I am age 75. I use Tretonion cream at night and S-C C E Ferulic Antioxidant Serum in the morning. The Glycolic Renewal Cleanser Cream is too much. I use a different cleanser: SkinCeuticals Gentle Cleanser cream.

Powerful Exfoliation that’s also cool & soothing
I noticed my face was feeling rougher and drier than ever before, and my aesthetician thought this cleanser would be perfect for me. Like another reviewer, I too am not “allowed” to use Glycolic Renewal every day, only a couple times a week. I like the consistency, it almost feels like aloe vera gel. it’s so soothing & cool I wasn’t sure anything was happening at first, so I rebelled against professional advice and washed my face with it every day, until a small wound appeared on my forehead! So I learned to take acid cleansers more seriously, and now I alternate with the Soothing Foam Cleanser. My skin texture is improved, it feels more like it did in my youth. Recommended!

Giving this 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a little harsh for my rosacea and sensitive skin. I have found that using it 4 or 5 times a week works better for me. Excellent for a good deep clean and would have been a great choice when I was younger and oily.
