I struggle with breakouts every now and then and I feel like this cleanser has helped keep them at bay. It tingles a bit and makes me feel like I am getting a good deep clean. My esthetician recommended Skinceuticals LHA Cleanser to me. My skin is prone to mild adult acne, and she said the cleanser's blend of salicylic acids would be helpful in combatting this. I was concerned it might too drying for my combination skin, but I haven't found that to be the case at all. The gel is thick and blends nicely with water. You don't have to use much, so a tube will last a few months. I've been pleased with the results. Be careful not to get the cleanser in your eye, however. It burns.
