My morning staple!
I've been using the Retexturing Activator Exfoliating + Hydrating Serum for several years now and love it. It serves a dual role as an exfoliator and hyaluronic acid serum in one, eliminating the need for two separate serums. I use this in the morning directly after my Vitamin C serum followed by a moisturizer then sunscreen as my last step. It has a very light gel consistency and doesn't feel sticky or tacky. I've definitely noticed a positive change in texture, pore size, moisture retention and my previously dull skin now has a more radiant glow. I'm very pleased with the results and will continue to use as a part of my skincare regime.

This serum does help my skin lightly exfoliate..definitely not a deep exfoliation. I use it every 3rd night because I tend to have sensitive skin. I like it but can live without it unlike my other 2 Skinceuticals serums.

Really works. Makes my skin baby soft and helps with the dry flakey skin that I get from using Retin A. I also think it helps with acne. It says to use 2 times per day but I use it 2 times per week. My skin is already very sensitive and the Retinol A adds to it, so maybe someone with less sensitive skin could use it more often. I love that it's truly fragrance free and safe for sensitive skin / rosacea. I have a fragrance allergy and many companies call their products fragrance free but it's loaded with essential oils and extracts. This is approved by SkinSafe for people with fragrance allergies.

Great acne fighting tool
I've added this to my routine at night and I notice my acne and acne scars noticeably improved. I don't typically use it in the morning since I already use a lot of active exfoliating ingredients but on the months where breakouts can be really bad I throw this in the mix and I feel it shortens the length of the breakout. I have sensitive skin and this doesn't burn, sting, or make my face red at all. Very gentle and soothing, feels very hydrating.
