I’ve been using for about 3 weeks now and haven’t had any issues with drying although I’m slowly adding days. Started out with twice a week and now at 3 times, I see a little improvement so far in texture of my skin. So far so good!

So... it has been along time since I used a retinol. In the past, retinols caused havoc to my skin so I always ended up quitting. At the encouragement of my dermatologist, I decided to once again try out a retinol. I have been using this the Retinol .3 for about 2 weeks. I have some mild peeling but nothing like in the past. I am anxious to see how my skin looks in the next 4 weeks. Based on my reaction, I can recommend this product but please realize you my peel. I consider this a minor price to pay for beautiful skin!

Great for sensitive skin
This is great for sensitive skin! I have only been using it for a few days, but I haven't had any kind of reaction from it. It leaves my skin feeling soft and it has helped clear up some congestion in my skin. I follow with the triple lipid restore to make sure I keep my skin hydrated. Those two are a dynamic duo!

Gentle starter retinol
I have tried retinol products from a bunch of different brands, but it’s been difficult to find one that’s gentle on my skin and effective at the same time. This SkinCeuticals retinol cream does both - finally! It has a light gel like texture, spreads easily, and I only experience mild peeling when ramping up to using this daily. The cream keeps my skin clear, and I’ve noticed smoother skin while using. I haven’t noticed any drastic changes on my mild wrinkles, and will probably bump up to a stronger retinol strength when I’m done with this tube.

Retinol that you won't quit!
After trying many otc retinol products and prescription tretinoin, I am happy to say that I will never quit SkinCeuticals Retinol. The retinol 0.3 makes using retinol each night an easy task. I haven't had any peeling, redness, or irritation. If possible, I will bump up to the next strength when I finish this tube. My skin's texture and clarity have improved with each passing week.

Progression, not aggression!
Retinols can be tricky! As a skin therapist for 20 years, I had so many patients who were hesitant to use retinols as they were given one from their doctor and it was super irritating and uncomfortable. Retinol needs to be introduced to the skin low and slow. I love the SkinCeuticals retinol line as it allows patients or clients to have a progressive treatment for their skin. Starting with the 0.3 and working up to the higher percentages works great and the results are fantastically smooth and youthful skin!

First, I love SkinCeuticals products. Yes, they are costly, but they deliver better results for me than any other products have in the past. The .3 retinol is a perfect retinol starter. As others have recommended, I used it 1x weekly for the first couple weeks, then 2x for 2 weeks, and on. So far, I'm seeing great, but gentle, results. A little peeling & redness which ends up being fresh, soft, smooth new skin. I'm 59, so this is a pretty miraculous thing! Hoping to continue & move to .5 retinol with the same results in the future. I would definitely recommend starting with this retinol. And you only use a little, so this will last a long time, making it more cost-effective.
