I purchased this retinol for the first time. I’ve now used it for a month. I followed the suggested initial use- twice a week to start, gradually increasing. I had no skin irritation at all by doing this. My skin does seem a bit brighter and clearer. I also apply the retinol to my neck and I’m surprised to see that I think it has made a difference. I will continue to include this in my skin care routine as I’m happy with the results.

Strong Retinol
Wow. This retinol is seriously strong. It really works. I only apply a small dot to my t-zone and wrinkled areas a few times a week. It does cause peeling if you apply more than that amount. I follow up with the skinceuticals daily moisturizer for combo/oily skin. So far so good :)!

Skin Ceuticals Retinol 1.0 is strong and works magic. I truly appreciate that it comes in a metal tube making it a more responsible product for the earth. It is suggested that you use every other day at in the beginning to get used to the 1.0 strength, I agree. Or apply your moisturizer then the retinol. Of course always use SPF during the day to protect your skin. SkinCeuticals offer quality products, why choose anything less? Aren't you worth it?

Good to use to step up steadily in retinol strength
Retinol being a long game difficult to review based on the long term results. Used this 1.0 strength after getting my skin used to nightly use with 0.5 strength, and 0.3 before that. I like that there are three distinct strengths within the retinol line to slowly increase. This 1.0 got me to prescription tretinoin so I’m glad for that.

I've been using this retinol for 10 years buying it at my plastic surgeon's office or lovely skin. Lovely skin is much cheaper. I look so different then I did 10 years ago. I don't have one wrinkle and my dentist always says "I can't believe your 62 you look 42. It's a compliment to the product. I do layer it with Triple Lipid 2-3-2 (I think that's what it is call. The first thing I put on my face after the retinol is new to me it's H.A. Intensifier. I've been using it for 1 week now. It feels good.
