Pleasantly Surprised
I was really skeptical about the new formula and even went on eBay to find the last bottles of the old formula before buying the new, but I am pleasantly surprised that I like it. Great exfoliating cleanser
This cleanser works very well to clean and soften the skin and minimize pores. It's mostly meant for the face, but I also use it on a couple of areas of keratosis pilaris (bumpy skin) on my arms, and it really helps with that too. Great product!

bad to my sensitive skin
I have REALLY sensitive skin. And historically, I haven't been habituated to gel cleansers. Given the awesome experiences that I had with other SkinCeuticals product, I was fully confident that this would work well. But I only used it once, and it left my skin with huge patches of redness(like rosacea) and flakes. Even after I put on layers of moisturizer, my skin was flaking massively for the next three days.

Good for Summer in Humid Climates
In the middle of the summer in a humid climate, if you have combination or oily skin, sometimes you need a good gel cleanser for oil reduction. This product is perfect for that. However, if you don't meet all that criteria, I'd say that this is too drying and there are alternatives that are way more gentle on your skin (such as iS Clinical Cleansing Complex).
