The second purchase of SkinCeuticals and alas. Left my skin and my husband’s skin desert dry. Makes you want to use the moisturizer right after your done with washing your face. I’d run to my thermal water and serums after cleansing skin with this product. Won’t buy again. One star is for the convenient packaging and another star is for the fluffy foam.

Gentle cleansing that works without creating tightness or dryness. My go-to for my combination skin. Can be used multiple times a day, no irritation, no fragrance, just refreshing. One caveat: not for removing heavy long-wear makeup.

This is a mild cleanser, but I didn’t find it much soothing effect on my rosacea. It did leave my skin soft, but I wasn’t convinced it removed all makeup, definitely not a deep clean for applying serums and other repair and replenishing products, in my opinion.

I ordered this cleanser by mistake, thinking it was another SkinCeuticals cleanser. I ended up trying it out and although it is gentle and effective, it was a little bit drying for my skin, so I gave it to a family member and they love it. It washes away make-up thoroughly and cleans the pores well. Would recommend for normal to oily skin.

SkinCeuticals Soothing Cleanser Foam--Good, gentle cleanser
For my mature and sensitive skin, I like gentle cleansers--ones that don't strip my skin, but still actually clean my skin without leaving a residue. I clean with a sensitive micellar water makeup remover (sadly not available through LovelySkin). Then, I clean with Soothing Cleanser Foam. On days with no makeup, I just use this cleanser. In the winter, I wonder some days if this is too drying, but I am not sure that it really is; in the summer, I wonder if I need something a wee bit stronger, but why strip my skin. SkinCeuticals Soothing Cleanser Foam is just right. I keep a bottle in the shower which I use at every shower, and a bottle in my makeup drawer by the sink. These two bottles have lasted me about a year with daily use...quite a bargain, actually. I have tried so many cleansers, looking for a cleanser that would...do what?...clean my skin very gently, very thoroughly. And, I realized that I actually have that cleanser, and that there is no reason to search any further.

Great Gentle Cleanser
I love this cleanser. My skin is so soft and feels supple and moisturized after using this. I was using the SkinCeuticals Purifying Cleanser and it left my skin clean but red and feeling dry. This has helped with the redness and dehydration. I have oily skin and was so dehydrated but changing to this cleanser has done the trick. It does not irritate my sensitive skin either. I breakout very easily and luckily no breakouts from this product. I will use it as long as they make it. Thank you for making such a nice gentle product.
