Pretty, pretty good -- but not great
I initially received this product as a sample and it felt much more potent at the time. In large form, the microexfoliation/scrubbing effect feels weaker. And yet, I prefer this product to competing brands. Good value for money but I am not totally sold

The best cleanser!
This cleanser is amazing for my 50 year old + skin. I have always had oily acne prone skin, and I have used some harsh cleansers to keep the oil and acne at bay. This cleanser keeps my skin clear, but clean without irritating it or drying it out. I absolutely love it!

SkinMedica AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser
What star do you give to a good product, but one that is not for you. For me, it exfoliates more than I like. It makes my skin too smooth, almost shiny, less natural than I like. I probably just don’t need it, as I am using so many other products, and my skin looks very good for my age. It might just be unnecessary. I still occasionally use it when I see a clogged pore, and sometimes on my hands, but no longer all over my face. It definitely work well, just not for me.

Gently exfoliates
There are granules in this, so I scrub gently. I only use it every once in awhile, so I'm still on my first tube. I like that my skin does not feel dry afterwards. A very small amount goes a long way. I use a dime size amount for my entire face and neck.

Less clogged pores
I tend to have clogged pores and wasn't sure what to do. Recently, I started using BHA cleansers and noticed a difference, so I tried this AHA/BHA cleanser as well. I prefer foaming cleansers, so I wasn't sure if I would like this gel cleanser. I actually do! The granules are subtle. It is not over-stripping. I still have clogged pores, but they are definitely less.

This is a great product! I seem to produce a lot of milia on my face. The little granules in the cleanser seem to do a good job of preventing additional millia from forming. I use this product 3 to 4 times a week. It hasn't irritated my skin at all. It seems to brighten the skin.
