Nice moisturizer
Love the moisturizer effect of this product. I put it on top of day and nighttime serums or treatments. Have been using product for 3 week. Seem to “ soften” fine lines. The moisture seems to last all day on me, but not heavy or oily. Might consider keeping this one in my skincare routine. No break outs or irritation.

I have been using SkinMedica products for many years. I can count on a high quality skin care product every time. That said, HA5 has been recently reformulated. I use the new formula but prefer the old formula. In a perfect world both would be available (day and night). I really miss the old formula. In my opinion its silky texture was superior prior to applying makeup or alone. At this time, I will continue to use the new formula.

Nice Product but made me breakout
I think my skin is sensitive and can break out with the introduction of new products. Everytime I applied this I broke out. It seems like alot of people like and enjoy this. Just not for me.

I wanted to love this hydrator as much as I love other SkinMedica products, but it caused random pimples, which I usually don't have. It is very moisturizing and I'm sure would be wonderful for most people; there is just something that my skin doesn't love about it that makes it react with a breakout.

I tried this after using the original HA 5 for several years. This new formula is a different consistency, more like a serum than a moisturizer. I find that I need to apply a moisturizer on top in order to get the results I want. It’s too early for me to tell if I prefer this one or the original formula.

Great Addition to My Evening Routine!
I've wanted to try the SkinMedica HA5 Hydra Collagen Replenish+ for awhile, but still had a brand new box to open of the HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator (which I love). Finally decided to just go ahead and try it and so glad I did! While I love my original HA5 for daytime, the new one is a perfect addition to my nighttime routine, and definitely more hydrating, which I like for the evening. During the day, I do find it to be a bit too moisturizing for my skin type which is definitely a combination of dry and oily. But for the evening, it is perfect. If you have dry skin, this would be a perfect addition to anyone's daytime regime. Will definitely buy again!

Love the texture of this!
I received a generous sample of this and liked it so I bought the regular size and have been very pleased so far. I have not used the other H5 so I can’t comment on the difference, but I really love the texture of this. It’s sort of a gel and glides on beautifully with no greasiness or tackiness afterward. I don’t love the smell, but it dissipates quickly. I have yet to see how it performs long-term, but it seems to be moisturizing nicely, and I will wait to see what other benefits it provides.

I want to love it more
I want to love this more. I’m going to give it more time to work. It feels nice going on. I was hoping it would deliver even more hydration for my 46yr old skin. I find myself having to layer another moisturizer on top of it (winter in the north east.)

Performs well, smells bad
Almost every type of moisturizer makes me break out. This doesn't. It performs well, but do spritz your face with a finger mister before you apply it so it absorbs better. It doesn't cause sunscreen to pill. The only drawback is it smells bad. I can overlook that though. I have the SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator which smells nice. Wish this one did too.

I really enjoy using this product as a base before applying my regular moisturizer. However, something in my routine is causing pilling, and I’m trying to figure out if this product is the culprit or if it’s a combination issue. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the pilling concern and the higher price point. While I like the product, I’m still undecided about repurchasing.
