I have been using this for a while and it is a lightweight foam cleanser that I use in the morning. It makes your face feel fresh and hydrated. As far as taking makeup off in the evening I use a stronger cleanser but it is great for my morning cleanser to refresh my face

My skin disapproves
I purchased 3 Skinceutical products at once so it took a minute to determine which was causing breakouts in my sensitive skin. I’m 100% certain this is the culprit. Additionally I saw no improvement in my wrinkles or brightness from my skin.

This product was introduced to me by a Med Spa. I have mature skin, and to restore color, texture and plumpness to my facial skin was my main concern. This product is effective in doing all those things and more. My skin is softer, clearer and plumper with the proper hydration. It works well AM and PM. I apply it before foundation and the foundation goes on smoother and doesn't settle into pores. I found it effective as a solution to my concern.

Please bring back original!
I had the original HA5 on subscription and swore by it for years. This new formula causes a reaction and breaks out my face. I had to toss an entire bottle of it. I don't know what they did differently, but please bring back the original as an option!

I have been using SkinMedica products for many years. I can count on a high quality skin care product every time. That said, HA5 has been recently reformulated. I use the new formula but prefer the old formula. In a perfect world both would be available (day and night). I really miss the old formula. In my opinion its silky texture was superior prior to applying makeup or alone. At this time, I will continue to use the new formula.

I received a sample of this and immediately fell in love with it!! I’ve been using Skin Ceuticle products for years and swear by them. I was using skin medica TNS and found this product and decided to give a try. Not only is it super hydrating but it absorbs well into your skin and it feels plumped and so hydrated for many many hours. Beyond disappointed
SkinMedica Hydrator was my holy grail. Used it for YEARS and was always recommending to friends. Why they ever changed such a wonderful product I don’t know but i’m terribly disappointed with the new formula. My skin is so dry after using - the polar opposite effect. I’m hoping I can return it for something that actually works.

Have been using this for several months now, from what I understand this has replaced the HA5. The product is silky on your skin, it seems to make the skin smoother with the Collagen, am happy with it. As far as what the long term results will be, will have to wait.

A Pleasant Surprise
I have to admit I was originally not pleased that the original HA5 had been replaced because I loved the original. Now I have to say I am THRILLED with this new version. It is wonderfully moisturizing and I can cover all of my face and neck with two small pumps instead of the three I had to use with the former version. If I had to choose only one skin care product to own, it would absolutely be this one.
