I wanted to love this
I watched the Skin Medica video a few weeks ago and learned about this new product. I use many Skin Medica products but this one disappointed me. The consistency of the product is very thin and does not appear to provide much moisture for my dry skin. In addition, each time I use the moisturizer it stings which has never happened with a Skin Medica moisturizer. I will use up the jar I have but will not reorder.

Very hydrating
Great moisturizer! Definitely makes my skin feel hydrated, although it’s a thinner formulation (not heavy or greasy!) so I’ll probably use it more in the warmer months, and will likely want something a little more substantial for the drier, colder months.

Great moisturizer!
I bought this when it first came out, and no reviews yet posted. Glad I did, and see now from reviews that I’m in good company thinking well of this product. I use it at night. It’s moisturizing without being a thick or heavy cream. Great consistency. I have sensitive skin, and love that this is not fragranced.

This ie like a water burst of moisturizer light but creamy. Great for daytime with a foundation on top or tinted sunscreen which does not pill. Love it!

I just received this product and so far I like several things about it. The one concern I had was that it was in a jar but loved that they included a nice spatula to use to get the right amount of product out of the jar. I know it’s never good to use your fingers! The fragrance is extremely light as I have a sensitivity to fragrance and this does not bother me. The weight of the moisturizer is also nice. Not too heavy but enough to feel hydration and moisture. So far I have not seen a change but need to give it time. I’m a big fan of Dermal Repair so I have high hopes for this product.

Not enough for dry season
Tried this for the first time, since my normal face moisturizer has gotten soo expensive. For my skin type, I learned that this is only good for the heavy to mid humidity levels. When the recent dry cool fronts started coming through, it has just not been enough for my face. After it dries, my skin feels a little stretched, feeling like I only splashed water on my face. I keep wanting to go and put more on. It goes on nicely and I like that there is almost no fragrance, but that's about it. I will not re-purchase.

It's not for me
I love SkinMedica and have used many of their products for decades, but this did nothing for me. I thought I would love it, but it didn't moisturize my skin at all. It felt like I was just putting water on my face. It might be fine for someone with oily skin, but it did not work for me.

love this moisturizer. A tiny bit goes a long way. It was one of the less expensive moisturizers and was on sale. My skin stays soft all day and no break outs. Nice and light. Not a heavy moisturizer.

Good product for normal skin…
I really wanted to love this moisturizer like the HA5 hyaluronic serum, but it just didn’t provide enough hydration for me. I had to use more product than expected to get the level of hydration I am used to from my normal moisturizer. I have sensitive acne prone skin and this did not cause a bad reaction, which is a plus. This would be a good fit for those with normal skin, but my perimenopausal skin requires more hydration.

I have used several different HA products, including Skin Medica’s HA5. I haven’t had this product very long, so not sure just how well it will compare long term, but for now I can say it is a very good, pretty comparable product at a much lower price.

This moisturizer feels wonderful. It is light weight yet hydrating and moisturizing. Drys smooth. Feels refreshing. Great as a day moisturizer after applying Vitamin C and before sunscreen. Great at night with tretinoin. Also great on non-tretinoin nights with a thicker moisturizer layered on top.
