I think I have used nearly every "adds volume" product on the market. Certainly I've had favorites.....but NOTHING has even begun to compare to Surface's Protein Mousse. I have thin hair, so I'm cautious about trying anything new (when I'm somewhat satisfied with my current "favorite"), as many products weigh my hair down. Thank goodness I threw caution to the wind and purchased this one. No weight, LOTS and LOTS of lift and volume PLUS the volume lasts for days!! I am super happy with this product, I can't imagine ever using anything else!!

Great, but has arrived with the top broken off

This product is very difficult to dispense. I actually called customer service because I thought something must be wrong with it. I was told to shake the container, which I had already been doing. It is hard to say how well this product works since it doesn't come out well and I am not sure if it is the right consistency. I was trying it for the first time since I have been happy with other products in this same line, but so far this has been disappointing.

Great volume and lift for fine hair
Great mousse for styling wet hair. With extremely fine thin hair it adds great body and hold, without being heavy or sticky. It does not weigh my hair down. Another plus is that it doesn't make my scalp itchy like other products do. Will definitely purchase again.

Best mousse I’ve ever used
This product is amazing! I love the Surface brand, and this mousse did not disappoint. My thin fine hair looks fabulous! I was so anxious to try this that I used it on air-dried hair, scrunched it, and it produced beautiful beach waves that have lasted all day! My only complaint is the smell. It smells nice when first applied, like menthol, but once the product dried my hair kind of had a burnt smell-even though I did not use a hair dryer. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone that wants volume and or gorgeous waves that hold all day!
