First time
This was my first time using Surface Blowout Protective Oil. I liked the way this oil wasn’t heavy & left my hair a little shiny. I must tell you that I didn’t blow dry my hair, so I can’t comment on how my hair looked or felt after blow drying, sorry. I usually use the bassau oil on my hair, which I like— just thought I would try something different. I love all the Surface brand products! If you’re looking for a bit more shine to your hair, then I would recommend this product. Once again, I’m very satisfied!!

Soft, manageable hair

Makes the ends of my hair feel healthy again
My stylist told me the ends of my fine hair were damaged by "wear and tear". Since I'm trying to keep my hair longer, I asked her not to cut it too short but that left a lot of damaged ends. I've been using this blowout oil on the ends prior to blow drying and, after a week, the ends are now much smoother and feel healthier. Takes very little oil to make a difference. Great cuticle oil too!

I’m not sure..
I loved the sample I received of the Surface Blowout oil, so I bought a full size bottle. However, my initial result with the sample was different than the subsequent times I used this product. It’s possible that the shampoo and conditioner I used prior to applying the sample added to my hair looking extra shiny. Unfortunately, it hasn’t looked as good or worked as well since then. I will keep trying and hopefully find the combination of shampoo and conditioner I used the first time.
