At first I was a bit reluctant when I put some in my hand because of a few negative reviews I had read. This "mousse" has a thin consistency to it like none I have ever seen before. I also purchased their Awaken Mist Leave-In Conditioner. This also has a strange consistency to it! When I pressed the pump, at first it came out in a spray. I pressed again and a small amount of the product came out thicker. I decided it would be best to take off the sprayer and put some in my hand. I put a pretty good amount in my hair and combed it through. Then I took two healthy pumps of the "mousse" and spread it all over my hair. I have a lot of fine hair and almost anything can make it feel and look weighed down. I was surprised that with all the product I used my hair was not oily for the first time ever! THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT IF YOU CAN USE IT LIKE I DID! Also, the most surprising thing to me is that it stays cleaner much longer, even with hairsprays and doesn't tangle at all. I am ok with the packaging to get such good results for my hair . I highly recommend both of these products!!

This is my favorite mousse. I have been using it for over three years. It’s now hard to find where I am. Thanks LovelySkin for always carrying it! I have very curly hair and this works like a charm. Nice hold and it does stiffen up but if you run fingers through once it’s dry it softens right up. I would say if you need light hold just use less. My hair is not weighed down by it but in a sense I want it to weigh it down some to keep it controlled. I certainly don’t feel it’s too heavy, only if I accidentally use too much which rarely happens. It does not dry out my hair either but I do use very moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. So it could depend on the products you’re using together.

No frizz curls!
I first tried this product at a blow dry bar, and I loved the smell of it–smells like chocolate because of the cocoa butter. I ended up purchasing and using it at home and love it. I have naturally curly hair that I usually straighten on a daily basis. However, when I want to wear my hair natural and curly, this keeps it from looking frizzy. I don't find it heavy.
