I use a shaving brush.and use only a small amount of cream which lathers up quickly and stays lathered for a long time. Keeps beard moist throughout shave. Sandlewood soap has a pleasing odor.....it smells like the shaving soap my dad used years ago. This site has the best price I've found for the product.

Great Scent
Got this for my significant other for Valentines Day. He loves Art of Shaving creams, and has tried them in different scents. I wasn't too sure if he would enjoy the lavender scent, lavender can be a little girly. Not this one. It smells manly and soothing, my fiancé loved it. Sea kelp is still his ultimate favorite though. The tub lasts him about a month (he shaves daily), I'm thinking of getting lemon for him next.

Great for travel.
My fiancé loves this shaving cream, and we usually buy it in a tub. He also travels a lot, and the tub is just too big to pack for an overnight trip. I was excited to find this in a tube, because its smaller and much easier to pack. I also personally think it's more hygienic this way. He does prefer the tub for home use though, I think he enjoys the whole ritual of dabbing and swirling the brush in it, hard to do this with a tube.

When it comes to shaving, Im old school. I use a brush, real shave cream out of a tube, and an old style double edge razor. No fancy multi-blade, battery operated, vibrating razor for me. Art of Shaving Shave Cream is not cheap, but its the best shaving cream out there if you use a brush. It only takes a small amount to generate a good lather so it will last a long time. Its not easy to find and Lovely Skin has the best price Ive found anywhere on the internet. Plus they have great service and fast delivery. If you use a brush, give this a try. If you dont use a brush, buy one and get a tube of Art of Shaving shave cream from Lovely Skin. You wont regret it.
